Professional Development, Administrator Academy, and Coaching

I-KAN Regional Office of Education's mission is to provide quality professional learning and school improvement in Iroquois and Kankakee counties. Continuing Professional Development Unit opportunities are provided for teacher recertification and Administrator's Academies are offered to assist superintendents and principals fulfill their professional development requirements.

I-KAN hosts a variety of training throughout the year to accommodate the needs of teachers, administrators, social workers, psychologists and instructional coaches, as well as other education professionals.

I-KAN ROE offers professional development workshops at the Regional Instructional Center and provides on-site training during teacher in-service days. I-KAN’s instructional coaching program provides expertise in a variety of educational areas.
